Henry Fehr's career in surface restoration didn't happen overnight — it's built on three decades of hands-on grit, adaptation, and an unwavering commitment to craftsmanship.
His journey began in the mid-1990s, during a booming era of home renovation. Starting out as an apprentice working alongside seasoned master refinishers, Henry spent his early years mastering the grueling fundamentals: proper chemical etching, the flow of a high-pressure HVLP sprayer, and the delicate chemistry of acid catalysts and industrial-grade polyurethane coatings — often in tight, poorly ventilated bathrooms.
As manufacturing trends shifted over the decades — from heavy vintage cast iron and mid-century stamped steel to the explosion of lightweight fiberglass, acrylic, and high-end jetted whirlpool tubs in the 2000s — Henry evolved right alongside the industry. Rather than relying on outdated shortcuts, he continuously tested and adopted new bonding technologies, structural reinforcing resins, and eco-friendly ventilation systems.
Over 28 years, Henry transitioned from a local field technician into an independent master artisan known across the region for taking on the complex restoration jobs other contractors turned down — whether it was saving a cracked 1920s clawfoot tub or converting an obsolete jetted tub into a sleek, modern soaker. Today, that three-decade history translates to a steady hand, an encyclopedic knowledge of materials, and a reputation for treating every homeowner's bathroom as if it were his own.

Darrell Reicker has spent the last two decades turning bare walls and subfloors into some of Calgary's most detailed tile work — from full bathroom renovations down to the last cut border tile around a shower niche.
Darrell got his start in the trade in the early 2000s, cutting his teeth on standard ceramic and classic subway layouts before the tools and materials of the trade caught up to today's standards. Over the years he's kept pace with every shift in the industry — trading old mud-set methods for modern waterproofing membranes, mastering large-format porcelain and natural stone slabs that demand dead-flat substrates and precise leveling systems, and adapting his layout work to the herringbone, large-format, and mixed-material designs homeowners are asking for today.
What sets Darrell apart is his range. He's equally comfortable gutting and rebuilding an entire bathroom — subfloor, waterproofing, niche framing, and tile, start to finish — as he is spending a single afternoon installing a sharp kitchen backsplash that ties a whole room together.
